The report, Cost of Government Day, shows that Americans will work 88 days to pay for federal spending; 40 days for state and local spending; and 69 days for total regulatory costs.
The Frugal Prosumer understands that taxes are their biggest expense in life and when they seek to reduce expenses they know this is one of the first places to look.
- The Supreme court now validates what I have always said. Health Insurance is a tax.
- A lot of taxes are now called “fees”.
- Inflation is another subtle form of tax that the government uses.
Please remember taxes are not like the rest of the law where you are innocent until proven guilty. With taxes you are guilty until you prove you are innocent.
